Visa Information Session for Higher Education International Students

Immigration SA, together with Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) and Study Adelaide held a Visa Information Session for Higher Education International Students on 16th October.

Approximately 250 international students from the three major universities attended the seminar. The Immigration SA team emphasised the benefits of state nomination and the flexible requirements for SA international graduates. DIBP gave an overview of General Skilled Migration visas and the application process.

This free visa pathway seminar showcased Immigration SA’s engagement strategy with onshore International students in South Australia. Immigration SA recognises the commitment and contribution international graduates make to the state.

The key message delivered by the Immigration SA team is that South Australia welcomes international students and would like to encourage more graduates to make our state their home and enjoy the enriching lifestyle and opportunities we have to offer.
