Which visa option is right for you?
Please note: All documents submitted for a sponsorship application will be retained by Immigration SA and will not be returned. Please ensure you retain copies for your own records.
There are several visa options for business people:
Provisional visas:
- Business Owner. The State Sponsored Business Owner 163 Visa is available to owners or part-owners of businesses. This is a provisional visa, valid for four years.
- Business Senior Executive. The State Sponsored Business Senior Executive 164 Visa is available to senior executive employees of major businesses. This is a provisional visa, valid for four years.
- Business Investor. The State Sponsored Business Investor 165 Visa is available to investors and business people willing to invest in South Australian business. This is a provisional visa, valid for four years.
Permanent residence visas:
- Business Talent. The State Sponsored Business Talent 132 Visa is available to top level business people who intend to reside in South Australia and undertake significant business activity of exceptional economic benefit for South Australia. This is a permanent residence visa with no provisional visa required.
- Business Owner. The State Sponsored Business Owner Subclass 892 (Permanent Residence) Visa is available to owners or part-owners of businesses who can demonstrate their business has provided a benefit to the South Australian economy.
- Business Investor. The State Sponsored Business Investor Subclass 893 (Permanent Residence) Visa is available to investors who have held investment with the South Australian Financing Authority (SAFA) as stipulated by DIAC under the Subclass 165 visa.
